Lamination and Henna For Beautifully Improved Eyebrows

Do you want that full, fluffy eyebrow look, want to create symmetry in uneven brows, tame unruly hairs, or fill in gaps for a fuller look? Our brow lamination and henna treatments are for you! Both of these corrective treatments helps you to achieve your desired eyebrows for up to 8 weeks.

Brow lamination is a eyebrow keratin treatment that corrects the brow shape by setting the hairs in place using a chemical solution. Brow lamination is a two-step process. To begin we do some brow mapping to find your desired and most aesthetically pleasing shape for you face. Next a cream is applied that breaks down hairs internal bonds so they can be manipulated into a new position. This is followed by a second cream that rebuilds these bonds and sets them in their new position similar to how a hair perm works. Flat, unruly or downward growing hairs can be corrected using eyebrow lamination. This treatment can change the direction of growth to create a more uniform look with a higher arch and a more desirable brow shape.

If you are wanting to try this new on trend treatment for perfect brows might we suggest doing the full treatment which includes coloring the brows using henna. You can add henna for added depth and color. Our corrective eyebrow treatment realigns your brow hairs into the desired position, which makes them much easier to manipulate. This technique can achieve instantly fuller looking eyebrows using your existing hair. By adding tint or henna you can amplify the dramatic effects and get a more filled in appearance.

Henna is a gentle form of tint that lasts longer then traditional brow tint and is able to dye the skin behind the brows creating more depth. It’s the perfect option for adding fullness, filling gaps in brows and correcting brow shape. It’s also a great way to save time filling in eyebrows trying to make them symmetrical each morning. If your regular tint is fading too quickly or not giving you the right color tone, try henna, it’s the perfect alternative. We often suggest trying henna if you are contemplating permanent makeup. Henna is a not so permanent way to see if you like the filled in color perfected appearance associated with permanent makeup. Henna can last up to 8 weeks with proper care and offers more color choices then traditional tint so you will get your ideal shade.

Henna is applied much like regular tint. Your technician will use a fine brush to apply the liquid henna. It is important to stay still while it’s being applied as it will stain everything it touches. Once dry, your technician will cleanse the henna from your brows and condition them with a specialized brow serum.

Henna includes brow mapping to get your most becoming shape and can take anywhere from 15 to 45 minutes, depending on the shade you’re looking to achieve and if you’re having them sculpted using wax or tweezed during the treatment.

If your technician shows you the results at the end and you wish for them to be darker, it is easy to apply an extra layer to create a deeper colour.

To help your brow treatment last as long as possible it is important to follow the aftercare instructions. Skin type does play a role in the longevity of your henna tint and those with oily skin may see their brow colour fade sooner. It’s important to keep your brows dry for 48 hours post treatment as both the brow lamination and henna are both still curing during this time period. After the first 48 hours your brows can get wet but avoid rubbing or exfoliating the area. Avoid oily products in and around your brow area for best long-term results as oils can break down the bonds.
